San Francisco Countdown - 10 Days

In honor of my trip to San Francisco, my very first trip to San Francisco and first trip to the west coast I am going to attempt to blog everyday leading up to my trip with fun facts and things I want to do while I'm there. Things to note about my trip:

1). The first 5 days are for work.

2). Daniel is going to be joining me for the 2nd part of the trip (aka our vacation)

3). I HATE FLYING.......

It will most certainly be an interesting trip to start off with, mainly b/c I don't like flying and I will be flying alone, but I'm certain once I get there..........I might not want to come back.

So for my FIRST post I'm going to highlight the infamous Golden Gate Bridge. This usually is the first thing that people think of when talking about San Francisco so I thought it would be GREAT to start off with this one.

Here is a little background:

The Golden Gate Bridge - Linking San Francisco with Marin County the Golden Gate Bridge is a 1.7 mile-long suspension bridge that can be crossed by car, on bicycles or on foot. It was completed after more than four years of construction at a cost of $35 million, it opened to vehicular traffic on May 28, 1937.
