A MUST HAVE

So - I went to the mall last weekend to purchase a few things before my trip to California next week. First, I went to try and pick up a pair of jeans that I took to get altered. Well, either I picked them up and lost them or they lost them. They are no where to be found. Good thing they weren't expensive or else I would have made a bigger deal about it. I then purchases my new watch, which you can see in my previous post.

On the way out I decided to stop in the GAP. I don't go in there much, I felt for the longest time that everything in that store was all the same color and just sort of 'Blah. Well, much to my surpise they had a lot of REALLY cute things. Their jeans were great and priced very well and it made me look forward to Fall, which btw I am sooooooooo ready for. The last month its been in the high 90's, just a tad bit ridiculous. Good thing Fall is just around the corner. Football, pretty leaves, and the mountains. I can't wait. Ok - now back to my GAP experience. When I was walking up to the counter I saw these cute little shoes on the side. When I first looked at them, I thought - Those aren't very cute, but they look comfortable. Well, I was right they are REALLY REALLY comfortable!!!! and they are really cute on and feel like bed room slippers, just cuter.

They will be perfect for my trip to San Diego and LA next week. Perfect for airports and walking around the city!!! I think I might just have to buy them in some other colors too.

True Colors and The Heart of the Matter

I tend to go on streaks where I will read a lot and then not read at all for a while, but for the past couple of months I've been a reading machine.

True Colors by Kristin Hannah was the last book I read. I finished it last night. A very good, easy read with a good message. If you are looking for a nice summer book pick up this one. I got another of of her books that I hope to start soon.




The Heart of the Matter was also a wonderful book. I've read all of Emily Griffin's books. I almost wish I didn't read through them so fast, because now I have to wait until she writes a new one.

I'm not sure what I will read next, but you can bet it will be a book about relationships, since those seem to be my favorites right now!
